Opening times

Barnwell country park is open all day, every day with free admission. However, car parking isn't always available in all areas of the park. The cafe and toilets have separate opening times.

  • Car - Follow the brown and white signs off of the A605 Oundle bypass
  • Bus - There is a regular bus services to and from Oundle town centre. The bus stop is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the park

​The Kingfisher Cafe opening times

The cafe is open daily from 10am to 5pm.

Over Christmas the café will be closed on 24, 25, 26 December, and 1 January.

Dog walking

We provide a pleasant dog friendly environment with areas where your dog is allowed off a lead (under control). Dogs are not permitted in the play area.

We provide dog bins in several places that are easily accessible.

Toilet opening times

The toilets are open daily - 8:30am to 8pm.

We aim to ensure that everyone, irrespective of age, ability or background, feels welcome at our country parks and has an equal opportunity to discover, enjoy and benefit from them.

Our Country Parks are safe and have managed areas with sign posted trails. There are well maintained surfaced paths and plenty of seating.

Blue badge holder parking is available situated near to accessible toilets. Pay and display charges apply.
